Indian's travelling to Bali- Basic requirements & things to remember.

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. It also has a lot Hindu temple's with beautiful architecture.

Bali is being visited by a large number of Indian’s every year.

I will elaborate thing’s you will have to keep in mind before visiting Bali is short!

Some point’s to keep in mind before visiting Bali are:

First of all, you do not need to worry about the Visa, as Bali offer’s free Visa on arrival to Indian’s upto 30 days if visiting for tourism purpose. Generally, most of adventure & water activities in Bali provide insurance, but It is very important to purchase your own personal travel insurance if you are planning to do any other activities for which legal insurance companies do not provide insurance, or if you fall sick during your visit as healthcare in Bali is quite expensive. If you are planning to rent a bike or car for travelling, then you will need a international driving permit. You shall always carry USD ( United state dollar’s ) rather than INR ( Indian national rupee ) as you will get better exchange rate for USD-IDR. Also, you will find a lot of Indian restaurant’s in Bali, but the thing to keep in mind is that only authentic Indian restaurants like the Queen’s etc. will provide authentic tasty Indian food, whereas you will also get Indian foods at small food stalls or kiosk but the dishes there will have some taste of the local masala’s as well. Balinese people have tremendous respect for their culture & thus expect the same integrity from tourist’s. You shall have basic knowledge of different area’s, places & activities to explore in Bali. Overall, you will find a lot of Indian’s residing, working & visiting Bali.
